Program Description Learn graphic design, publish a magazine, design and develop websites, and master Adobe Creative Cloud. During the 12 month Publishing diploma program you will develop skills for a diverse range of jobs and graduate with a portfolio geared to your area of interest. You will use the latest software and techniques in a collaborative environment that cultivates the professional attitudes and creativity needed to excel. Students develop comprehensive knowledge of print and digital publishing. They produce high-quality, tangible and marketable products, such as Pacific Rim Magazine and LangaraPRM.com. PRM is a 64-page, glossy, colour publication distributed each May to all Globe and Mail subscribers in British Columbia. The program provides intensive, hands-on experience that is nearly impossible to gain on one’s own. Alumni work in many publishing and design fields, including their own businesses.
